Introduction to the State of The Net Series
The Internet Education Foundation (IEF)
has begun to host a series of events designed to explore the "State
of the Net." Specifically, this policy-oriented series will serve
as fora to examine the framework for Internet governance. The conference
will establish benchmarks for this examination and will set goals for
future progress. The conference will also serve as an opportunity to
find measurable ways to evaluate progress in a credible manner. The
community will then convene regularly to monitor its success in achieving
the objectives and suggest new methods of reaching our goals.
