Lightning Talks at State of the Net

In its 20th year, State of the Net (SOTN) is an opportunity to connect with colleagues across the spectrum of industry, government, and the public interest. With rapid innovations in areas such as AI, the public and legislators are paying attention to Internet policy perhaps more than ever before. Join the entire Internet policy community at SOTN on February 12, 2024.

Past speakers have come from a variety of agencies. From the Senate, they include Ed Markey, Amy Klobuchar, John Thune, and Roger Wicker. From the House, Representatives David Cicilline, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Steve Scalise, and Michael McCaul have spoken, as has Deputy Attorney General Makan Delrahim. We have been joined by every White House Chief Technology Officer including Michael Kratsios, Meghan Smith, and Aneesh Chopra, and FCC commissioners Tom Wheeler, Jessica Rosenworcel, Geoffrey Starks and Brendan Carr. Industry CEOs, including Brian Roberts (Comcast NBC Universal), Travis Kalanick (Uber), Drew Houston (Dropbox) and Fred Ehrsam (Coinbase) have lent their presence as well. This is only a small sample of the esteemed guests and speakers we have been privileged to host over the years.
